The promenade will be publicly open at 6:00pm and will remain so until May 25, the day of the 200th anniversary of Argentina's birth. The "federal open doors space" is to feature all 24 provinces, a 25th one with Argentines who live outside the country and several areas of the invited-countries. The main goal of the themed trade fair initiative is to post a "federal, plural and participative" nation.
A federal parade is to be hosted on May 22; also, the provinces will be featured in the gastronomic area, and in live performances. The "Province 25" sector is to be joined by the "Province of the Future" sector, where children's participation will be at the core of discussions.
The invited nations that will take part in this event are: Dominican Republic, Guatemala, El Salvador, Cuba, Haiti, Mexico, Panama, Venezuela, Uruguay, Peru, Italy, France, Spain, Paraguay, Ecuador, Chile, Colombia, Brazil and Bolivia.
Two hours of the inauguration has been set, performances will begin their four-day series at the Obelisk. Moris, Fito Páez and León Gieco will play live, among others. Lito Nebbia will be hosting the shows.
A secret to-be-announced event is scheduled for Monday midnight, as a way of receiving the Bicentenary Day on Tuesday.
