Download Version Two of the high sea adventures with the Anchormix crew. Follow along as we navigate with Wilbur's map making our first stop at Ruby Island - known for sought-after reggae/dub treasures buried in it's northern caves.

Ship Captain Andren joins forces with world famous navigator Scott Allen as they combine their talents to steer the Anchormix vessel through stormy waters. Once they drop anchor and hit the shores, Omnibus MC verbally leads the charge to the treasure through dense jungles and foliage.

The trio endures the terrain and, after much duress, arrive at the caves to discover a wealth of treasure and celebrate with a feast of foul and select ales by firelight.

 Anchormix favorite Dr. Auratheft has compiled an mix of baile funk that is guaranteed to bob yo head. I can't say I recognize the tracklist other than the MIA cut, but damn if I don't own ever Miami bass and electro cut sampled here. I love the Brazilian rhythms laid into the production aswell, Dirty South (America) never sounded so good. This is a required download.

For those not familiar with the genre (from Wikipedia):
Baile funk is the English slang applied to dance parties in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The music played there is called funk carioca or funk from Rio de Janeiro. Itis mainly based on miami bass music, a sub-genre of hip hop. Unlike miami bass, however, funk carioca also uses traditional Afro-Brazilian rhythms. The lyrics often, but not always explicitly deal with sex, violence and drugs. The maiority of the songs consist of the artist recognizing their favela or slum. In Brazil, "Baile Funk" refers to the location that funk carioca is performed.
