Too Much

I have to watch out for the signs,

Carefully analyse

Each of my dreams,

Observe the mind,

Keep track of all the crazy hunches

And read them over again and again

So that one day I'll be able to say:

„I've seen

Accidental meetings,

Happy turnouts

And sudden tragedies

- I've foreseen them all."

Keeping the crisis under control

By being aware of it -

Permanent vigilance

- that desperate paranoid effort,

Counting the raindrops

Of all my harmless storms.

And maybe I just think about myself too much.
